Café Art Deco (ul. Sadovaya, 47) is presenting an exhibition by Laurent Mazar – a famous French conceptual photographer, who spends most of his life in the airplane between St-Petersburg and Paris.
The main idea of his exhibitions – is the link between people and ideas, to describe this idea he prefers to use multimedia technologies (video-installations, photo installations, light and music).
The goal of the exhibition “ART AS LINK s” is to get the creators of modern conceptualism closer to common life and to demonstrate their creations out of museums – in active and moving club space.
It’ll get abstract conceptual art closer to such a common thing as a party. The exhibitions of Laurent Mazar took place in Paris palace of 17th century, in Lord bar, Bringhton, in PINK PARDISE club, Paris and in famous Paris club l’Etoile.
Photos from «Straight Lines», «Broken Lines», «Mouth & Word», «Hips&Lips» series will be present in the exposition in Café Art Deco, the photos will be not only on the walls but also on the windows. Lips of the favorite model of Jean Paul Gaultier, eyes of famous St-Petersburg model, Paris, St-Petersburg, Peterhof will fill the visual space.
